Arzu Yoldemir,
The Swiss-born architect graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Department of Architecture, with honors in 1993. He deepened his educational journey by completing his master’s degree at the building department of the same university in 2011. He started his professional adventure at Has Mimarlık. He completed his language education in his field in England in 1994 for a project carried out in partnership with Has Mimarlık and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Arzu Yoldemir worked as a Designer Architect and Project Manager in leading offices in the sector such as Has Architecture, Atöly MD, Oral Architecture and Evrenol Architecture between 1992 and 2019. Some of the projects he designed have received world first prizes in the fields of architecture and interior architecture. Projects handled at various scales such as master planning, architecture, interior architecture, survey-restitution-restoration; has gained significant experience in the design, management and implementation stages. The experiences he gained during this process added a unique touch and a broad perspective to his designs.
In the academic field; He has repeatedly served as an invited jury member in the education processes of Istanbul Technical University and Yeditepe University, and transferred his knowledge as a Project Instructor at Yeditepe University in 2019.
In 2017, at the Workshop of Master Raymond Law School’s Türkiye Representative and IFSA member, Ms. Esre Koyuncu; It is deepened in ancient teachings such as Feng Shui, Chinese Astrology and the I Ching. These experiences enable him to develop a perspective that blends the energetic balance of space and its potential in the time dimension in his designs and to make personalized designs.
Based on the important experiences he gained in the field of architecture on a macro and micro scale, he launched ‘Arzu Yoldemir Mimarlık Aş’ in 2019. It handles its designs with a philosophy that prioritizes the sustainability of the balance of spirit and space by making user-specific analyzes of color, texture, form searches and choices, as well as aesthetics and function. It implements its applications together with artists, craftsmen and painters who are experts in their fields
